Subaru of America, Inc. Donates Another $100,000 to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Effort

Every year, Subaru of America, Inc. donates $100,000 to the American Red Cross to help the organization provide assistance to people affected by disasters as quickly as possible. Subaru holds a platinum membership to the Ready 365 Giving Program, a program that offers continuous support to the American Red Cross in order to help them do more for people in need.

Recently, the automaker announced that it will match its annual donation, adding another $100,000 in support of those affected by Hurricane Harvey. In addition to the extra $100,000 donation, Subaru will also contribute vehicles to the Red Cross to help with the relief effort.

In an ongoing effort to help customers directly, Subaru Motors Finance1 is also offering late fee leniency for accounts through September 10th. For customers struggling to make monthly payments because of the storm, Subaru Motors Finance is offering payment solutions. For customers who suffered vehicle damage as a result of the flooding, Subaru of America is also offering $500 to help with the purchase or lease of a replacement Subaru model.

The Subaru of America Foundation has also set up a way for its employees to contribute more to the hurricane relief effort. By enhancing the matching gifts program already in place, Subaru of America employee donations to organizations responding to Hurricane Harvey will be matched $2/$1 in order to supply further aid.
