At Sewell Subaru, we care deeply about our community and are committed to keeping our neighborhoods vibrant and healthy now and for generations to come. Trees are vital to this effort — they provide oxygen, cool our community, filter water, clean the air, prevent flooding, and improve health. But every year, our community loses trees due to age, disease, infestation, and extreme weather. Subaru and retailers like us are proud to partner with the Arbor Day Foundation to help address this problem. This spring as part of our Subaru Loves the Earth initiative, Sewell Subaru provided and distributed 100 of mature, regionally appropriate trees that will benefit communities for generations. This year alone, Subaru and its retailers provided and distributed 100,000 trees to communities across the country. Through this new partnership and other initiatives, Subaru and retailers like us have helped distribute and plant over 1.1 million trees so far — and this is just the beginning. Together, we are growing a greener, healthier Dallas, TX for generations to come.

Imagine having to go without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Dallas TX, this can be a harsh reality. Helping others is the key to a strong community which is why Sewell Subaru believes in helping to support individuals and families in urgent need. This season, for our Subaru Loves to Help® initiative, we are partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. On Wednesday, July 10th, Sewell Subaru and the LLS Red River Chapter had the pleasure of delivering 80 blankets to UT Southwestern Simmons Cancer Center as part of the Subaru Loves To Care program. These comforting gifts were accompanied by personalized messages of hope written by the customers and staff at Sewell Subaru. This incredible act of generosity was warmly received by the UT Southwestern Simmons Cancer Center staff who were thrilled to distribute these gifts to their patients. Many thanks to everyone at Sewell Subaru and UT Southwestern Simmons Cancer Center, not only for a memorable day, but for supporting LLS's mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families!

With the end of Guide Dogs for the Blind's 2023/2024 fiscal year, I want to share with you the impact of Sewell Subaru's incredible support through the "Share the Love" event. Your donation of $82,500.00 this year and total donations exceeding $540,000 over the past 11 years enabled Guide Dogs for the Blind this past year in Texas to: • Graduate 9 new guide dog teams, • Support 94 active guide dog teams, • Raise 140 guide dog puppies-in-training, and • Support 171 active volunteer puppy raisers, puppy club leaders and puppy sitters. Every year, dozens of our Dallas area volunteers look forward to coming out to Sewell Subaru to participate in "Share the Love", interacting with your friendly staff, introducing your customers to our guide dogs and puppies, and educating them all about the lifechanging mission of Guide Dogs for the Blind. Through the "Subaru Love Promise", Sewell Subaru demonstrates a shared commitment with Guide Dogs for the Blind to enhancing independence, creating more inclusive and diverse communities, and providing for the safe and humane treatment of animals. Thank you for everything that you and your team do to support us and to make us feel welcome at your store. Together, we are positively impacting people's lives.

Sewell has partnered with Team Cadence Cyclery for eight years and your support has made it possible to spread the health and wellness message, as well as living a green lifestyle! Sewell Subaru has gone above and beyond to partner with the Dallas Community. We take pride in being able to contribute to the Subaru Love Promise. On behalf of our staff, and all our kids, thank you for your donation of winter coats to Community Partners of Dallas. It is only with your help that we are able to touch the lives of more than 20,000 abused and neglected children in Dallas County each year. Sadly, 17 reports of abuse or neglect are investigated and confirmed every day in Dallas County. The need for support is great, and you took action! Sewell Subaru’s commitment to the Subaru Love Promise and to serving those in need in our community is inspiring and makes a world of difference to the children in we serve. We thank you and we promise that your love and your generosity will make a tremendous difference. Your generosity helps deserving children to thrive in a safe environment, and to have the resources they desperately need. Again, thank you so much for your donation. Frank Wilkins shared with me that he and the other Guide Dogs for the Blind puppy raising volunteers had an absolutely wonderful time at Sewell Subaru again this year! I personally want to thank you, the Sewell Subaru team, and the leadership of Sewell for all that you have done and continue to do on behalf of Guide Dogs for the Blind. We love partnering with you!

We wish to say “thank you” to Sewell Subaru for your annual “Subaru Share the Love Event” supporting Vogel and our work to serve children and families affected by homelessness. Vogel received a donation of socks to give for children and families we serve, which fulfilled a great need. We rely on local community support to help young children and their families prevent and overcome the trauma of homelessness. With the help of partners like Sewell Subaru, we can break the cycle of poverty, and successfully rewire brains, repair hearts, and restore families. Thank you, Sewell Subaru, we appreciate all that you do for our organization and our community.

On behalf of everyone at Guide Dogs for the Blind, we would like to enthusiastically express our appreciation to Sewell Subaru for its ongoing support of and commitment to the mission of Guide Dogs for the Blind. For 10 years, Sewell’s generosity has enabled individuals who are blind or visually impaired to experience enhanced safety, mobility, and independence with a specially trained guide dog at their side. Sewells’ impact is felt throughout Texas and extends far and wide to everyone we serve in North America. This past year, Sewell Subaru and Subaru’s Share the Love® Event has helped Guide Dogs for the Blind support 106 active guide dog teams in Texas. 274 of our Texas volunteers raised 122 guide dog puppies-in-training and have raised more than 570 puppies since 2014. We are especially grateful to Sewell’s sales and service team members who have embraced our mission and have been eager to tell their customers about Guide Dogs for the Blind. Every year during Subaru’s Share the Love® Event, they welcome dozens of our volunteers and guide dog puppies into the showroom to interact with their customers. Through the Subaru Love Promise®, Sewell Subaru demonstrates our shared commitment to enhancing independence, creating more inclusive and diverse communities, and providing for the humane treatment of animals. With partnerships like Sewell Subaru, Guide Dogs for the Blind will continue to provide all programs and services to our clients free of charge. Thank you, Baden. Your team at Sewell Subaru is the best!

Through Sewell Subaru’s generous contributions, participation in Light The Night, and coordination of on-site blanket and care-kit deliveries, the company demonstrates its steadfast commitment to providing patients with support, encouragement, and hope when they need it most. Every three minutes in the U.S., a new patient is diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma. Our partnership reflects Sewell Subaru's commitment to supporting families and children impacted by blood cancer. As the treatment and rehabilitation process can often be long and arduous, blood cancer patients may be left feeling cold, confined, and in a weakened state. Sewell Subaru has contributed messages of hope throughout the Subaru Loves to Care® initiative and are proudly continuing the tradition in 2023 to show support for their community members during an emotionally and physically challenging time in their lives. Thank you, Sewell Subaru, for your continued support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® and our mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

On behalf of the clients, volunteers, staff, and dogs of Guide Dogs for the Blind, I would like to thank you for Sewell Subaru's ongoing support through The Subaru Share the Love® Event . We are grateful for your recent donation received March 27, 2023. Subaru's support fuels Guide Dogs for the Blind's efforts in Texas, where in 2022 we had 106 active guide dog teams, graduated 8 new guide dog teams, raised 122 guide dog puppies-in-training, and had 274 active volunteer puppy raisers, puppy club leaders and puppy sitters. Dozens of Dallas-area volunteers actively participated in Share the Love this past year, spending time at your store with our guide dog puppies and interacting with customers. We LOVE partnering with Subaru! Through the Subaru Love Promise you share GDB's commitment to enhancing independence, creating more inclusive and diverse communities, and providing for the safe and humane treatment of animals. Together, we are positively impacting people's lives. My heartfelt thanks for Sewell Subaru's continued support.

SPCA of Texas is honored to partner with Sewell Subaru. We appreciate their team’s compassion and dedication to helping animals in North Texas receive exceptional care and find a loving home. At the most recent Subaru Loves Pets adoption event, we were able to do just that. We are excited to share Arwen’s Happy Tail. Arwen is a merle-colored, 5-year-old lab retriever hound mix (our best guesstimate) that recently birthed a litter of cuties. The underdog family arrived under unfortunate circumstances, as they were collected as a part of a large-scale seizure in Van Zandt County, Texas, along State Highway 110. Our Animal Cruelty Investigations (ACI) Unit arrived at the property in late August 2022 and began the intake process for the seized furry friends. Upon arrival, it was apparent that all of the animals were neglected and existed in very difficult circumstances. This could be seen in Arwen’s coat; there were bald spots on top of her skin-and-bone frame. It is difficult to look back at the photos of her and be able to count her ribs. As Arwen and her pups went through adoption preparation, her calm demeanor won her a lot of friends, two-legged and four-legged alike at our shelter. Arwen patiently waited for her furever family, as she wished her puppies “Happy Tails” as each of them was quickly adopted upon being made available. Finally, the mobile adoption events at Sewell Subaru as a part of the ASPCA’s Subaru Loves Pets campaign presented the perfect opportunity for Arwen to shine. Arwen left with a family through our foster-to-adopt program, as she had several remaining procedures, including dental surgery and mass removal. After Arwen’s final post-op follow-up, she officially joined her furever home. Thank you again, Sewell Subaru. We appreciate your hard work in helping so many animals in need!

On behalf of Guide Dogs for the Blind and the Guide Dogs for the Blind Dallas Club, I want to thank Baden Rowland, General Manager, and the entire Sewell organization for their support. The support we have received from both the dealership and through the Share the Love program has been life changing for many. With support from Sewell, we were able to bring Guide Dogs for the Blind puppy raising to Texas. We have now raised over 200 puppies throughout the state. Many have gone on to be working guides, providing mobility and independence for their partners. Some have gone on to become K9 Buddy Dogs for visually impaired children. Some have gone on to be diabetic alert dogs, hearing dogs, animal assisted therapy dogs... the list goes on. Sewell Subaru's support has allowed us to transport our pups to and from campus and provide specialty veterinary care. During the height of the pandemic, their support helped feed every puppy in training in the state of Texas. Sewell's donations have funded many, many socialization experiences for our pups and training for our raisers - contributing greatly to our pups readiness to become guide dogs. We are so thankful for their support. Above and beyond the financial contributions, the kindness, support, encouragement, and love we all feel from Baden and the Sewell Subaru staff is immeasurable. We truly could not do this without them!!

My wife and I were traveling from Ely, Nevada to Dallas for the World Robotics Competition our son was competing in. Alas, our 2020 Outback was having some issues with the battery, and we needed to get it serviced. Sewell was close by, so we brought the car in to see if someone was available to check it out. Of all car dealerships and service departments we have ever visited, we have never been so amazed at the quality of service as we were at Sewell. From the moment we drove into the service lane, everyone was SOOOO helpful. Corbin made us feel like we were the most important people in the room. He was efficient, polite, and knowledgeable - whatever he's making, pay him more. He humanized the experience in such a way that made the visit seem like a joy rather than a task. He was in constant contact with me throughout the process, and our car was even ready to go before we anticipated it would be. Outside of Corbin's professionalism, the logistics and processes in place at Sewell were impeccable. From the texts to the pick up process, we were astounded at how smoothly everything ran as part of the service department. The cashier offered us chocolates for the road. AMAZING! I'm a university professor, and I do a great deal of research in applied sciences. Much of the research in business and hospitality management delineates the difference between customer satisfaction and customer delight. Let me say that Sewell Subaru is the physical manifestation of the systems, policies, and practices that lead to customer delight and the likelihood that customers will return in the future. You have my word that the next time we buy a Subaru, we will visit Sewell Subaru to purchase it and then drive it back to Nevada - your service is totally worth it. All we had was a battery replacement today, but the quality of our experience at your dealership left us not only satisfied as customers, but delighted.

My Journey with Sewell Subaru started in the year 2019 when I picked up my first WRX from your dealership and Will from your sales team assisted me then and the experience provided then was excellent. This experience was equally followed by your Service team namely Christopher who ensured that my car was very well taken care of during this period. With Subaru launching the refresh model of the WRX, I was eager to get information on the car and Venessa from the front desk always ensured that my questions were promptly answered by your sales team even before the car actually hit your showroom floor in-addition to making me feel welcome in your showroom. With most of my questions answered, I decided to get the new WRX for myself and I approached your Sales Agent, Taylor. My interactions with Taylor started somewhere in the mid week of May and she did answer all my questions on the new car and is one of the pivotal reasons for me to go ahead and order the car without me even taking a test drive of the car. I explained to her the reason for me getting the new WRX and she was patient enough to hear me out on my requirements with complete attention. She followed up with me regularly and was very kind enough to offer me multiple test drives on the new WRX whenever your showroom had a car to spare for me to have an Apples to Apples comparison which pretty much sealed my decision to own the new WRX. During one of my interactions, I asked her about the missing Hood carpet on the new WRX and she reached out to Subaru for further information and provided me with their response. I must admit that I am a hard customer considering I have an affinity towards cars and my questions were pretty technical in nature and she answered all of them without fail. The test drives, the documentation, the exchange formalities, the delivery, etc. were extremely well handled by her and Matea. They together made my experience stress free and without doubt, I would love to buy all my subsequent cars through Taylor. Robert again from the Sales team was patient enough to listen to me on the Wheel and Tire protection and ensured that I was a happy customer at the end of the day. It was great talking to him during the purchase of my car. I have taken delivery of my new 2022 WRX Limited on the 28th of July and have already put in some miles on the car. It is a fantastic car offered by Subaru sweetened by your impeccable dealership. I can sing praises for your dealership, your staff and you have rightfully earned a lifelong customer. I would like to thank you for facilitating such a great experience to your customers and I wish Sewell the best in the years to come.
Amanda T.
Thank you so much for the wonderful donation to the UT Southwestern Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center. It was delightful to have so many Sewell folks come out and support our Support Services program. I know the blankets, bears, and craft kits will make a huge impact on our patients helping us provide them excellent and compassionate care. Please forward my thanks to all who participated and know how truly grateful we are and appreciate you all.

I am reaching out to convey my positive experiences with Maggie, my service advisor at Sewell Subaru in Dallas. Maggie’s level of service has exceeded my expectations, defining an expectation as “how it usually goes”. Maggie excels in five key areas that work well for me. 1) She is good at using multiple modes of communication. No other service advisor I have had at Sewell over the last six (maybe seven) years has leaned into using text as Maggie has. This allows me to fit communicating with her when I have a moment. 2) She excels at thorough, timely responses to my questions. She also is good at keeping me updated on project progress. This helps me make informed decisions and then know what is happening. That is a recipe for feeling comfortable in my book. 3) She remembers our conversations from days ago as if we had just spoken. It is so nice to not have to repeat myself. 4) She is willing to to take the team lead/ single point of contact where possible. I recently had a situation in which my insurance company requested a W-9 form. Maggie could have referred me to another department, and I would have understood. She handled it herself. So refreshing. 5) While accomplishing these levels of execution she is polite, personable, and reasonable. It as if we have worked together for years. In fact we met only last month. Although I know I am one of many customers, at the same time I feel special. It is as if I am in on an exclusive club. I would include a "room for improvement" note if I had one, but I don’t. I hope this letter supports the recognition and rewards Maggie deserves. For selfish reasons I hope Sewell is able to keep her happy at work. I want to work with her next time I bring my Outback in, then my next Subaru.

I am writing on behalf of my wife, Crystal, to commend Luis on his assistance with our recent purchase of a 2022 Forester. From the beginning to the end of this process, Luis was attentive, informative, polite, and professional. He kept us updated on the delivery of our vehicle over the 10 plus weeks our vehicle was in the production queue and promptly responded to all of our phone messages and emails. It is not often that I have the opportunity to praise a salesperson, but Luis' handling of our order (and of us) has been exemplary. Crystal and I feel Sewell Subaru is fortunate to have him on your team.

LLS was honored to work with Sewell Subaru as part of the Subaru Loves to Care program to deliver blankets to UT Southwestern this June. Sewell Subaru generously donated and hand-delivered 80 warm and cozy blankets to UT Southwestern to spread hope to the patients at the hospital. The thoughtful donation was warmly received by the staff at UT Southwestern and will bring comfort to patients while they are receiving treatment. LLS is thankful for the support of Sewell Subaru in bringing light to the darkness of cancer and supporting the mission of LLS. Thank you Sewell Subaru for choosing LLS and making a difference in the lives of patients.

The SPCA of Texas is so thankful for the continued partnership with Sewell Subaru during the annual Subaru Loves Pets adoption events. Our mission is to provide every animal exceptional care and a loving home, and Sewell Subaru help us achieve that. At the most recent event, one special underdog named McLovin found his forever home! McLovin is an owner surrender. As a pitbull terrier mix, his breed often faces restrictions for many renters, limiting his potential adoption options. Additionally, he tested positive for heartworms. The SPCA of Texas provided the heartworm treatment for him, as well as the time, space and TLC for him to recover. We are happy to report that McLovin (now known as Bear) is healthy and thriving with his new family and they are completely smitten with this sweet boy. He is a fast and eager learner and is already 100% potty trained! Bear has also learned several commands since arriving in his new home. In the photo provided, you can see that Bear went as a Dallas Maverick for Halloween and was a huge hit! Thank you again, Sewell Subaru. We appreciate your hard work and compassionate partnership in finding loving homes for so many animals in need!

Thank you to Sewell Subaru for their kind words of encouragement to our teachers and staff at Harry C. Withers Elementary in Dallas, Texas. Our teachers are patient, active and engaged but the continued weight of COVID safety protocols and the ever- evolving climate has added stress to their educational commitment. Sewell Subaru and their customers contributed positivity in our hallways to show support for our staff by delivering a yellow school bus with optimistic notes. Our PreK- 5th grade students thank you for thinking of us and for boosting our teachers to keep turning the dial, one student at a time!

We couldn’t be more thankful to Sewell Subaru for their continued support of the SPCA of Texas and our mission to find loving homes for the countless animals in our care. We were honored to be part of the Subaru Loves Pets campaign – and we’re happy to say that dozens of animals found new and loving homes throughout the duration of the campaign! Which gives us the opportunity to make space for other animals in need of a loving home. So thank you for supporting pet adoptions and making it possible for homeless pets to find loving homes across North Texas!

Vogel Alcove’s mission is to help young children and families overcome the lasting and traumatic effects of homelessness. Our two-generational programming focuses on both the child and the parent as we work to break the cycle of poverty for the homeless children and families in our care. Our comprehensive services rewire brains, repair hearts, and restore families. One of our focus areas is health and wellness. Quality sleep is a critical component for brain development in young children, and it helps improve memory, reduces anxiety, increases energy, and boosts the immune system. It is often a challenge for children affected by homelessness to get quality rest each night due to the often noisy and unpredictable environments where they sleep. Sewell Subaru’s generous gift of blankets will help create a more comfortable and cozy experience at naptime during the day and bedtime at night for the children of Vogel Alcove. We are grateful for Sewell Subaru!

Zachary “Zack” Thibodeau was 8 years old when he first started going blind. Living with the constant stress of uncertainty about his future became his new normal. His mother, whom he calls his greatest advocate, contacted Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) to see how we could help. Zack was too young for a guide dog, but the perfect age for our K9 Buddy program, which matches children and young adults with special dogs to be their companions. Once the folks at Sewell Subaru found out - they helped raise the cost to transport Natura to Zach! His K9 Buddy Natura changed his world. “From the moment I met her, she calmed my fears, helped me build my confidence and made me realize that I wanted a guide dog of my own,” says Zack. A few years later, Zack attended Camp GDB, a weeklong summer camp at Guide Dogs for the Blind that gives teens ages 14 to 17 the opportunity to meet other teens from across the country who are helps are blind or visually impaired. In addition to participating in fun activities like bicycling, hiking, and kayaking, teens explore the companionship, independence, and responsibility of having a guide dog. Zack’s summers at Camp GDB further solidified his goal to get a guide dog. In late 2019, Zack’s dream came true when he was paired with Namath, a black Labrador Retriever. Now age 18, Zack and Namath have been a guide dog team for a year. Fast forward to the fall of 2021, Zach is now enrolled in Dartmouth and ready to attend in stride with Namath by his side guiding the way. All of this started with the generous folks at Sewell Subaru helping with the transportation of his buddy dog - Natura.

Just wanted to give a big shout out to Brad with Sewell Subaru. As my dad was on his way to pick up my mom from work last night, he got a really bad flat tire due to hitting a curb from a construction area. Luckily, he was only a few miles from Sewell Subaru and our plan was for him to drop off the car in the parking lot and me pick him up from the dealership. Luckily Brad was there, took great care of my dad, and was even able to grab him a loaner car! This was at 9:30 PM last night! Always great service with Sewell Subaru and this was greatly appreciated as always!

The SPCA of Texas is extremely grateful for the support in helping homeless pets’ dreams come true this holiday season from Sewell Subaru as part of their Share the Love Program. With their help, we were able to find over 31 pets homes, just in time for the holidays. Sewell Subaru’s partnership allowed us to do everything necessary to prepare these pets for adoption, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchips and all the other medical they needed to get them healthy, happy and ready for a new home. The SPCA of Texas works to rescue, heal and find homes for thousands of animals each year, and we could not this work without the help of companies like Sewell Subaru. We are so appreciative to be one of the non-profits that they support, and their charity makes a huge difference in the lives of animals and people in our community.

The SPCA of Texas is grateful to partner with Sewell Subaru during the annual Subaru Loves Pets adoptions event. Our mission is to provide every animal exceptional care and a loving home. During the weekend event, with Sewell Subaru’s help, we received funding to provide veterinary care to adoptable animals and 27 pets found new, loving homes! Because of the pandemic, the event was virtual, but Sewel Subaru stepped up to help publicize pets needing homes. One special pet who found his home during the weekend event was Bruno, a six-year-old pit bull mix. He was at the SPCA of Texas for months without hardly any interest, primarily due to his age and breed. But the Subaru Loves Pets adoption event hosted with Sewell Subaru turned out to be his lucky break. He went home on a Saturday afternoon and his family adores him! We are so happy. Sewell Subaru exemplifies the motto “more than a car company;” they truly care about the pets and families in our community. Thank you, Sewell!

Vogel Alcove’s mission is to help young children and families overcome the lasting and traumatic effects of homelessness. Our comprehensive programs and services address the multitudes of needs facing our families, and our success depends on the support of our community. Sewell Subaru recently donated 80 blankets to help keep our children warm and comfortable during the winter season. Research overwhelming shows quality sleep is a critical component for brain development in young children, and it helps improve memory, reduces anxiety, increases energy, and boosts the immune system for both children and adults. It is often a challenge for our children to get quality sleep each night due to the often noisy and unpredictable environments in which they live. Sewell Subaru’s generous gift will help make naptime during the day, and bedtime at night, a much more comfortable and cozy experience for the children of Vogel Alcove. We are grateful for Sewell Subaru! Thank you for taking the initiative to support and partner with local charities in North Texas.

I wanted to quickly reach out say how much my husband Dennis and I enjoyed our experience purchasing our new Subaru Outback from Clay last week. Working with him was a total pleasure and we found him to be trustworthy, transparent, knowledgeable and all-around fantastic to talk to. My parents purchased a Subaru from Sewell and JD three years ago and had a positive experience, and I had submitted my credit information online in advance, so my expectations were that our car-buying experience would be painless, but it’s always a surprise to have high expectations exceeded! Kudos to Clay and your finance manager who helped us to have such a pleasant and memorable experience.

Words cannot appropriately express my thanks for your help in repairing my car. Normally, for an act such as this, cookies would be in order. Really good cookies. However, in the time of COVID, I think for everyone's safety, words will have to do. My Outback is not much to look at anymore. After thirteen years of pool chlorine, dogs, a growing boy, Canadian snow, Texas heat, and multiple school parking lots, it's really showing some age. However, all of those little dings in the hood, scratches in the paint, and discolorations of leather are part of its life story. It's been a good life so far, and I'm hoping for many more years to come. Nowhere else can I find a car that meets my desire for a little speed, a lot of control, and necessary utility. Even with those signs of age, Sewell Subaru service representatives (including Charlie) have always treated me and my Outback with respect and care. I know when I go into Sewell, I will receive an honest answer, a fair assessment of what needs to happen, and consideration for our budget. Whereas I have had to worry in the past about other Subaru dealerships' dealings, I have not worried once when I have had to bring my car in to Sewell's service department. So, again, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Your generosity and customer care are unparalleled, and it makes me want to stay a Subaru driver and a Sewell customer.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of North Texas had the amazing pleasure to partner together with Sewell Subaru on June 28 for their Subaru Loves to Care Program. As one of 8 neighborhood retailers, Sewell delivered 80 blankets to Parkland Memorial Hospital, while also conveying hope, warmth, and uplifting words of encouragement to those currently being treated with and battling for their lives. Each blanket came along with a personal note of hope written by the customers and staff of Sewell that the patients absolutely loved reading. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of North Texas is beyond appreciative for the kindness and commitment of Sewell Subaru not only for our mission but also to those in our local community. Seeing the joy on patients’ faces as the blankets were personally delivered was extremely rewarding and heartwarming. We are honored to collaborate with an organization that offers back to the absolute most meriting individuals and carries light to the darkness of a cancer diagnosis.

Again this past holiday season, Sewell Subaru stepped up and Shared the Love with their continued support of Guide Dogs for the Blind - Dallas Puppy Raisers club. During the event last December and January, our raisers brought their puppies-in-training to the dealership where we greeted (and rubbed noses with) customers who were shopping for a new vehicle. In addition to the invaluable socialization and enrichment opportunities this provides for the puppies, the money raised makes it possible for us to provide transportation and support for the dogs as they continue their journey towards becoming a guide dog and changing a life. Sewell Subaru truly makes our community – and the world – a better place with their love and commitment. The Dallas puppies love Sewell Subaru!

We are so grateful for the ways Subaru gives so generously through their Share the Love Program! With the support of the Sewell Subaru team, The Birthday Party Project is able to continue celebrating birthdays for children experiencing homelessness in Dallas and around the country! The gifts and party supplies collected will directly impact the thousands of kids and families we celebrate with each month. Our parties are more than a celebration, they are a loud exclamation point that children matter. Our parties give homeless families and volunteers a chance to connect through celebration, and we are thankful that Subaru once the power of building a JOYful community.

The Humane Society of Dallas has a lot to be thankful for this holiday season as Sewell Subaru has, once again, delivered in generous donations to support our shelter. As the only no-kill shelter in the city of Dallas, the Humane Society of Dallas, a non-profit organization, relies heavily on the support and charitable contributions of Sewell Subaru's Loves Pets program. Their support allows us to elevate our continued care and attention for all our animals here. This not only benefits our animals directly but in providing for our animals, it helps to engage them in socialization exercises and training, which is critical to their new forever homes. The Humane Society of Dallas, it is our continuous goal to strive toward a better life for all animals in our community and with Sewell Subaru's Loves Pets program, we are able to continue to meet that goal. A heartfelt thanks from all of us here: staff, volunteers, board members, and animals for their continued support and generosity.

KERA is honored to work with Sewell and cannot express how much the partnership means to us. The $150,000 raised through the Sewell Subaru Raffle is invaluable in helping KERA achieve its mission to educate, engage, inspire, inform, and entertain our North Texas audiences. Warmest thanks once again for making this possible.

A big heartfelt thank you and plenty of warm puppy nuzzles go out to Sewell Subaru for their continued support of Guide Dogs for the Blind and the Dallas Puppy Raisers as one of the non-profit organizations in their Share the Love Program. Because of their overwhelming generosity and gracious hospitality during this last holiday season, our puppy raisers were able to bring their puppies to the dealership throughout the campaign to meet and greet customers and have their photos taken with Santa Claus. This not only helps with socialization and enrichment for these future guide dogs, but our organization was also the recipient of a generous donation from Sewell Subaru which provides transportation and support services for our guide dog puppies in training. The puppies, their raisers, and the people who will eventually require the services of a guide dog thank you. It is companies like Sewell Subaru that truly make a difference in our local community. And the impact of that support will be felt around the world.

Guide Dogs for the Blind and Lone Star Guide Dog Raisers are grateful for the continued support from Sewell Subaru. Sewell Subaru and the Share the Love program have made it possible to raise future guide dogs in Texas. In 2010, with Sewell’s help, we brought six Labrador puppies to Dallas. With Sewell’s continued support, there are currently over 150 guide dog puppies in training in Texas. Sewell and Subaru have been very supportive and have given us the opportunity to provide the necessary transportation and support that our puppies and raisers need. Our puppies in training frequently visit the Sewell Subaru store for socialization experiences. We are truly overwhelmed by the kindness, friendship and professionalism of the Sewell organization, Eric Underall and every employee who continually “Share theLove”. Thank You! Beth Adams

Sewell has helped our students and community so much over the years and this is another example of the great support you give to those around you. We look forward to our partnership with Sewell continuing to grow in years to come. Thank you, AGAIN. Janet Willson Counselor

Sewell Subaru proudly supported Earth Day Texas on April 24-26. Earth Day Texas is an annual, outdoor festival seeking to elevate environmental awareness and influence the way Texans think, live and work. The family-friendly and free-admission event allows leaders in the corporate, academic and non-profit worlds to unite and show Texans how green lifestyle choices can lower their cost of living, improve their health, and help save the environment. Sewell Subaru had a XV Crosstrek Hybrid on display to teach attendees about the energy efficient vehicle.

Guide Dogs for the Blind picked up its check from Sewell Subaru on April 18th after the Share the Love event in December. Guests brought their families and furry friends to Sewell Subaru of Dallas in December for photos with Santa, refreshments, and ornament painting. As part of the annual sales event, customers were also able to take advantage of a great deal on any new vehicle while Subaru donated $250 to their choice of one of six charities, which included Guide Dogs for the Blind benefiting the Lone Star Guide Dog Raisers. So many of our customers selected this option that $18,385 was donated to the organization! Dogs for the Blind benefiting the Lone Star Guide Dogs Raisers was selected to be one of the six charities. With these funds, Lone Star Guide Dog Raisers are able to train around 56 more puppies to be future guide dogs.

On Friday November 14th, Guide Dogs for the Blind CEO Chris Benninger, presented Mr. Sewell with an award which recognized his efforts to raise awareness for the local North Texas Puppy Raising group. In addition to heartfelt thanks, the local Puppy Raisers, aptly named Lone Star Guide Dog raisers, introduced "Sewell" the 7 month old Black Lab (far Left), which is being raised by volunteer High School student Sophie Herran in Fairview, Texas.
